What's Up, Make It Mafia!?
Last week, we showed you how to take ONE project and turn it into SEVEN days of content.
We talked about documenting your cutting, painting, assembly, finishing touches, and those beautiful finished-product photos.
Well, this week, we're taking that idea one step further.
Now that you've created all that content, let's put it to WORK!
We're going to show you the simple system we use to bring people from Facebook and Pinterest back to our website, where they can actually purchase our products.
And the best part? You don't need to create another project. We're using the same one from last week!

YOUR PRODUCT LAUNCH CHECKLIST
We've put together a simple, printable checklist to help you follow this system every time you add a new project to your store.

THE SYSTEM: ONE PROJECT. MORE SALES PATHS.
Here's the whole idea. You already have a finished product. You already have the photographs and content.
Now we're going to use those assets to create more opportunities for people to discover your work and visit your website.
01. PUBLISH YOUR PRODUCTS
Start by getting your finished products listed on your website.
Include great product photos, accurate descriptions, sizes, pricing, and any options you offer. If you have multiple related products, make sure they're all ready for customers to purchase.
02. WRITE ONE BLOG POST
Create ONE blog post about the project on your website.
Include multiple finished-product photos, a little information about what makes the project special, and links to the related product listings.
Think of that blog post as the central hub for the project. Someone can discover the design, look through the photos, and easily find the products they want to purchase.
03. SHARE THE BLOG ON FACEBOOK
Use one of your best finished-product photos to create a Facebook post.
Tell people a little about the project and include a link to your blog post.
One Facebook post. One blog link. Multiple opportunities for customers to shop.
04. NOW LET'S TALK PINTEREST!
This is where we're going to get even more mileage out of those product photos.
First, visit your blog post and pin the individual finished-product photos to Pinterest. Those Pins should link back to your blog post.
Next, visit your individual product pages and pin the product photos separately. Those Pins should link directly to the corresponding product listings.
Use different photographs, useful descriptions, and searchable titles that describe what people are actually looking for.
Every Pin is another opportunity for someone to discover your products and visit YOUR website.
REMEMBER: YOUR WEBSITE IS HOME BASE.
Facebook and Pinterest are great places for people to discover your work. But the goal is to bring those people back to YOUR website, where they can learn about your business and purchase your products.
YOUR MASTER IT CHALLENGE
We're building on last week's challenge, so we're keeping this one simple.
Use the SAME project you worked on last week!
Here's your homework:
- Get your products published on your website.
- Create ONE blog post showcasing the project.
- Add multiple finished-product photos.
- Link the blog post to your product listings.
- Share the blog post on Facebook.
- Pin the blog photos to Pinterest.
- Pin the product-page photos separately.
- Check that your Pins link to the correct pages.
Download the checklist, print it out, and work your way through the steps.
Don't worry about doing everything in one sitting. Just keep moving forward!
LAST WEEK: CREATE THE CONTENT.
THIS WEEK: PUT THAT CONTENT TO WORK.
LET'S HEAR FROM YOU, MAFIA!
Are you already using Pinterest to drive traffic to your website, or is that something you need to start working on?
Drop a comment below and let us know!
Remember, you don't need to keep creating more products to move your business forward.
Sometimes you just need to get more out of what you've already made.
Now get out there and MAKE IT happen!
