๐ŸŒ€ How We Built the Ultimate Rotating Display Rack for Craft Shows

Perfect for Ornaments, Stickers, Keychains, Magnets, and More

If youโ€™ve ever stood in your craft booth thinking, "Where the heck am I supposed to put all these small items?"โ€”you are not alone. Thatโ€™s exactly where we found ourselvesโ€ฆ until we built the Rotating Display Rack, our latest laser cut portable pegboard organizer designed specifically for craft show sellers like you.

This DIY display stand is laser cuttable, portable, highly customizable, and it spins. Itโ€™s the ultimate small product display solution for makers, crafters, and laser business owners looking to level up their booth game.

๐Ÿ’ก Why We Created This Pegboard Rack

During a Master It Tier Patreon call, someone asked if we had a rotating ornament display stand. We didnโ€™tโ€”yet. But we did have a lazy Susan, a pile of ornaments, and a need for a versatile display that could break down flat, rotate on a dime, and hold more than just one product type.

Our mission was clear
โœ”๏ธ Use only Illustrator and LightBurnโ€”no fancy 3D software
โœ”๏ธ Build something that assembles fast with quick slots
โœ”๏ธ Make it modular and customizable
โœ”๏ธ Test every hook, shelf, bin, and divider
โœ”๏ธ Fit it all on a small table with a Lazy Susan base

๐Ÿ”จ Features of the Rotating Display Rack

This rotating pegboard display rack for craft shows checks every box for vendors who want more space, better organization, and a more professional booth setup:

  • 360 degree rotation using a 12 inch Lazy Susan (shoutout to Little Sue)

  • Pegboard panels with offset hole patterns for flexible hook placement

  • Interchangeable shelves, bins, and dividers to fit your product line

  • Double sided sign topper for booth branding or promo messaging

  • Quick connect tab system for easy assembly and teardown

  • Compact footprint perfect for 4 foot and 6 foot craft show tables

  • Designed for laser cutting with 1/4 inch MDF or plywood

  • Works with xTool, Glowforge, Aeon, Thunder, OMTech, and other CO2 lasers

๐Ÿง  The Design Process

We started sketching out ideas with basic shapes in Illustrator, using color-coded layers for tabs, slots, holes, and guides. Everything was tested step by stepโ€”starting with quick connections, slot spacing, and hook fitment before jumping into full-sized prototypes.

We made a few classic mistakes
๐Ÿงฉ First prototype was too big. Big Sue (our original Lazy Susan) took up half the table
๐ŸŽฏ We had to scale it down, redesign the base, and adjust tab sizing for painted or stained material
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Then we cut and tested every accessoryโ€”hooks, dividers, cubbies, and shelves

The final result is a fully modular, rotating booth display you can cut yourself or buy as a flat-packed kit.

๐Ÿงฝ Finishing Touches and Upgrades

We stained ours and used our Procolored UV DTF printer to print custom sign toppers, promo graphics, and logos. You can add whatever flair fits your brand.

Want to make yours pop?

  • Add chalkboard vinyl to your signs

  • Paint it with Foxy Hues Paints for a weather-resistant finish

  • Use clear acrylic for your bins to show off stickers or patches

  • Print branded inserts using your UV printer or adhesive vinyl

๐Ÿ“ฆ Flat Pack Kit Option

Donโ€™t have time to cut it yourself? We also offer the unpainted display rack kit shipped flat, ready to assemble. No glue required. Just add your own Lazy Susan base and paint or stain it to match your booth.
