MASTER IT MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
47 Things Going On. One Place to Keep Track.
Orders, design ideas, social posts, supplies, special projects... sound familiar? This week, we're showing you guys how we keep all those moving pieces from living rent-free in our heads!
Watch this week's video, then grab the free one-page challenge below!
Our System Is Simpler Than It Sounds
We borrowed a little thinking from the Agile world: break big projects into manageable tasks, make the work visible, and keep things moving.
Our board has four stages:
- To Do / Backlog: Everything we need to tackle.
- In Progress: What we're actually working on.
- Review: Things that need a final check (often Kim's!).
- Done: Finished, checked off, and occasionally cheered for!
We started with an actual wall of Post-it notes. Now we use Asana, a digital board we can access wherever we are.
We can assign tasks, set due dates, attach photos and files, and see exactly what's coming up. We also spend about 15 minutes a day checking in:
- What did we finish?
- What are we working on next?
- What's getting in our way?
Your Master It Challenge This Week
Pick ONE project. Break it into five smaller tasks. Start moving one of them forward.
Maybe it's preparing for a craft show, launching a new product, or finally getting that workspace organized.
You don't have to organize your entire life today. And you don't even need Asana to get started. A pen and some Post-it notes work just fine!
FROM CHAOS TO DONE

Remember: Being busy doesn't always mean being productive!
Want a Deeper Dive Into Asana?
We're thinking about walking you guys through our actual Asana setup during a future Master It Zoom call. Want to see it? Leave us a comment and let us know!
The goal isn't to create a prettier to-do list. It's to spend less time figuring out what needs to be done and more time actually doing it.
Now get out there and MAKE IT!
