Crackle Medium
Add a rustic flair to your furniture with our easy-to-use Crackle Medium. The crackled finish is perfect for those that want to mimic the look of authentically aged paint, or create a unique, two-toned, textured appearance. One of our favorite color combinations with Crackle Medium is Bliss with a top coat of Simplicity.
The options with this product are endless -- experiment with different finishes by pairing the Crackle Medium with our Metallic Creams, or use our Beeswax Distressing Bar and the resist distressing method to layer your project with different paint colors to create a multi-toned, shabby chic effect. Crackle Medium can also be applied to raw wood to allow the beauty of the natural wood to peak through your paint.
When you’re ready to seal your piece, check out one of our basic protection sealants such as Wax or Hemp Oil for light protection. If you’d like to add more moderate protection, try Clear Coat or use Tough Coat on projects that require maximum protection such as kitchen cabinets or outdoor furniture.
