How to Display Small Laser Cut Door Corners at Craft Shows
Do you love small laser-cut projects but struggle with displaying them at craft shows? We've been there! Our Door Corners are super popular—they sell like hotcakes—but figuring out how to display them at shows has been a challenge.
We’ve tried everything from wire racks to pegboards and even old crates. They either fall forward or take up too much space on our limited 4-foot table. This year, during craft show season, we decided it was time for a versatile solution that works on tables, wire racks, and pegboards—and still fits into a desktop laser.
Step-by-Step Project:
- Materials: We started with ¼-inch MDF and, of course, our go-to Foxy Hues Paints for a durable finish.
- Prototyping: Using cardboard first, we realized the slots were too deep, but the process saved us from wasting MDF. Cardboard prototyping is an affordable and quick way to test designs!
- Adjusting the Design: After making tweaks based on the prototype, we adjusted our MDF cuts for the perfect snug fit—ensuring there's room for paint and smooth assembly.
- Painting & Finishing Touches: Kim added her signature wood grain finish using Foxy Hues Paint, while Garrett debated adding trim (which is still up for a vote!).
Our final product works on tables, racks, and pegboards, making it a must-have for craft shows. Check out the video for a full walkthrough and let us know what you think—trim or no trim? 🛠️✨
