Hi, we’re Kim and Garrett — a crafty couple who believe life’s better with sawdust in your hair and paint on your clothes.

We started Kim & Garrett Make It with one goal: to inspire creativity and help people make things they’re actually excited to show off. What began as garage DIYs and YouTube tutorials has grown into a full-blown creative adventure — from our weekly DIY YouTube video to in-person paint workshops where you can finally make something beautiful without the stress.

We keep it real, fun, and 100% judgment-free. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be an artist. You just need to show up, laugh a little (okay, a lot), and trust the process.

Our favorite thing? Our Make It Mafia! And, watching people leave our workshops holding up their finished pieces saying:
